Emmy Raver-Lampman, 28, is currently better known for her stage career, having appeared as an ensemble member in Hamilton, Jekyll & Hyde, and Hair on Broadway, as well as playing Angelica Schuyler in the first US wide tour of Hamilton last year.

Now embarking on the first step of her television career, Raver-Lampman is set to play Allison in the Netflix adaptation of The Umbrella Academy, based on the comic books about a dysfunctional superhero family created by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way. Raver-Lampman stars alongside Oscar nominee Ellen Page, Game of Thrones star Tom Hopper and We Are Unsatisfied’s David Castañeda in the new series, expected to be another successful Netflix original when it’s released in 2019.
